Andriannie Santiago

Andriannie Santiago is a lifelong New Yorker from the Bronx who always dreamed about reading books for a living. She joined Knopf Books for Young Readers in 2022 after interning with Flatiron Books for over a year. She has a BA in creative writing and a publishing certificate from The City College of New York. Andriannie assists Michelle Frey on young adult and middle grade novels as well as picture books. No matter the genre or format, from serious to silly, she’s most compelled by a strong voice that hooks her from the very beginning and doesn’t let go. She’s passionate about stories that amplify underrepresented voices, and explore themes like class, gender, race, and migration. And above all, she’s looking for stories that will make her and readers look at the world a little differently. When Andriannie’s not busy reading or editing, you can find her trying out a new recipe or chasing after her crazy cat, Harold.
