Ann Kelley

Ann Kelley is drawn to lyrical, literary picture book projects, and loves thinking about just the right illustrator to compliment a text. She’s also looking for character-driven picture books with the right mix of humor and heart. In addition to picture books, Annie edits longer nonfiction projects on obscure and compelling topics. She is committed to launching diverse voices into the world and is always looking for stories that haven’t yet been told. Books she has edited include Noodles on a Bicycle (Caldecott Honor), The Mona Lisa Vanishes (Sibert Medal), and Many Things at Once (APALA Award). Annie lives in Baltimore with her son and three-legged dog.
