Estefania Valencia

Estefania Valencia works on a wide range of titles, from picture books to middle-grade, and edits many of the imprint’s Spanish-language editions. She seeks to build a list that centers diverse creators and perspectives, with a primary interest in picture books that have a compelling narrative voice, emotional poignancy and nuance, and witty, understated humor. She is also drawn to character-driven graphic novels that explore identity and coming of age, with memorable characters, strong relationships, and grounded stakes. Based in Los Angeles, she enjoys binge-watching cartoons and spoiling her two cats.
