Esther Hernandez

Esther Hernandez edits picture books and graphic novels (up to middle grade). As a former educator who graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, she’s passionate about elevating underrepresented voices. She is looking for character-driven stories that march to the beat of their own drum, lyrical one-of-a kind voices, underdog families who are silly and full of heart, and adventure (real or imagined). She loves musicals, traveling, and getting lost in bookstores with her husband.
