Hilary Shrair

Hilary Shrair is an editorial assistant at Random House Books for Young Readers and Random House Graphic, reporting to Jenna Lettice and Mallory Loehr. She loves books that draw in reluctant readers, explore emotional complexity, and have bite. Her projects include Emily Winfield Martin’s titles, Seuss Studios, and upcoming works by Gris Grimly and Ashley Belote. A few of her favorite books are The Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science and Holes. Before joining publishing, she was a middle school language arts teacher.
