Lois Evans

Lois Evans is a middle child and former candy-store worker who edits books for kids of all ages. She’s passionate about stories that center underrepresented people as their lives intersect with themes like class, gender, and migration. She welcomes anything whimsical, heartfelt, and specific—stories that are for readers with big thoughts and bigger feelings. When she’s not editing, she can be found logging movies on Letterboxd, training for 5Ks, or flipping through a cookbook—yes, chef!
