Michelle Frey

Michelle Frey became a children’s book editor (at least in spirit) at the ripe old age of nine, when she first read The Phantom Tollbooth and knew she wanted to live in worlds like that forever. Today she edits books for children and teens of all ages. She is looking for a voice that grabs her and stories that meet kids where they are developmentally. She loves fantasy, realistic fiction, humor, heartbreak—and everything in between, from serious to silly. She enjoys knitting, spending time in the outdoors with her lovable mixed-breed dog, and testing new recipes, despite her mediocre cooking skills.
